AMPS is a kind of vinyl monomer that contains sulfonic acid gene. With sound performance of heat stability, its decomposition temperature can reach 210°C. Under the term of acidity, the performance of anti-hydrolysis of its multipolymer is far higher than polyacrylamide. The monomer can be made into crystal as well as sodium salt solution. It can be widely used in oil field chemical, water treatment ，synthetic fibre, printing and dyeing, plastic , water absorption paint ,papermaking, biomedicine ,magnetism material and cosmetic ,etc .
